In der Videoarbeit "Research for Sleeping Positions" (2006) untersucht Jermolaewa die Palette möglicher Schlafpositonen auf einer Bank, die, stellvertretend für immer mehr Bänke im öffentlichen Raum, so konstruiert ist, dass man darauf ja nicht liegen und schlafen kann. Für diese Arbeit hat sie eine Bank am Wiener Westbahnhof ausgesucht, an dem Ort, wo sie 1989 als Flüchtling ihre erste Woche im Westen verbracht hat.
