Für Political Extras organisierte die Künstlerin eine bezahlte Massendemonstration auf der Biennale in Moskau. Über die Website www.massovki.ru wurden etwa hundert Demonstrant: innen angeheuert, um sowohl für als auch gegen die Biennale zu demonstrieren. Als Belohnung wurde ihnen ein kleines Honorar angeboten – in Anlehnung an die üblichen Methoden einiger politischer Pro-Putin-Demonstrationen in Russland. Indem sie ihren politischen Körper verkaufen, werden die Demonstrant:innen zu bloßen Symbolen einer gekauften Medienmanipulation unter dem Deckmantel einer demokratischen Form des Protests.

For Political Extras, the artist organized a paid-for mass demonstration at the Moscow Biennale. Through the website www.massovki.ru, about a hundred demonstrators were hired to demonstrate both for and against the Biennale. As a reward they were offered a small honorarium—following the practice of some pro-Putin political demonstrations in Russia. By selling their political body, protesters become mere symbols of purchased media manipulation in the guise of a democratic form of protest.
