At times, human existence seems nothing more than a crapshoot, a roll of the dice, a spin of the wheel. If one is considered a winner or loser feels completely up to chance, subject to, confusingly, both system and chaos. Fortuna Wheel (2019) abstracts this uncertainty into a carnival game, the fortune wheel, showing that not only is this perspective of human potential highly suspect, the very mechanisms of the game are in question.
